How much advance notice do you need for a delivery?

For most residential deliveries, a couple of days is usually enough — sometimes less if we're in the area. Campsite and cottage deliveries in summer can often be arranged with a day's notice. The exception is fall: September through November gets busy fast as people prepare for winter heating season. If you want wood for the winter, it's worth calling in August rather than waiting. Call or text Jeff and he'll tell you where things stand.

Do you stack the firewood when you deliver?

We deliver using a dumping trailer — the wood arrives split and dry at your property. Stacking is the customer's job. Most people find it easiest to stack right away: wood stacked off the ground, bark side up, with the sides open to airflow stays dry and seasons better than a pile. A simple rack or even a few pallets makes a real difference over winter.
